Technology

In the pursuit of excellence, the National Implant Centre is constantly adapting to the latest technologies offering our patients the newest and most up to date techniques as well as equipment and dental materials. This assures that our patients receive the best care possible.

Dental Cone Beam CT

State-of-the-art technology plays an important role in excel-lent Dentistry.
Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special type of x-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. Here at the National Implant Centre we use this technology to produce three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan.
By providing detailed three dimensional images, a CBCT Scan enables us to select the best location for your implants and plan the details of your surgery accurately, in advance of the operation. Images obtained with cone beam CT allow for more precise treatment planning.
